NORTH CANTON, Ohio - For the second straight season, the Walsh Cavaliers women's soccer team is headed for the NCAA Division II Women's Soccer Tournament. As announced in the NCAA D2 Selection Show on Monday (Nov. 18) evening, the Cavaliers earned the #2 seed in the Midwest Region, courtesy of the G-MAC Tournament Championship that was won in Dayton on Saturday.
Being the number two seed, the Cavaliers will face the seven seed, the University of Indianapolis Greyhounds at 10:00 AM on Thursday (Nov. 21). That game will be played at DeHaven Field on the campus of the University of Findlay.
The winner of that game will face the winner of the matchup between #3 Findlay Oilers and the #6 Rockhurst Hawks on Saturday (Nov. 23) at 1:00 PM.
