(RALEIGH, N.C. / WOOSTER, Ohio) – The Walsh track and field teams had a busy weekend as they had split squads at the Raleigh Relays hosted by North Carolina State and at the Wooster Invitational. Kaitlyn Barber (Fr., Toledo, OH/Whitmer) finished ninth overall in the pole vault with a jump of 11 feet, 5.75 inches.

The Cavs had three other placers in the javelin as Rose Tupta (So., Twinsburg, OH/Trinity), Laura Kozuszek (Sr., Pleasant Hill, OH/Newton Local), and Karley Dougherty (Fr., Clinton, OH/Manchester) finished fourth through sixth, respectively.
Erin Peskura (Jr., Strongsville, OH/HS) finished second in the 100 meter dash with a time of 13.3. She gave the Cavs four more points with a fifth place finish in the 200 meter dash with a time of 28.38.
