(HILLSDALE, Mich.) – The women's track and field team participated in a last-chance meet in the Hillsdale Classic and finished 11th with 21 points. Indiana Tech won the event with 86.5 points while Tiffin was the runner up with 55 points.
Sarah Berger (Fr., Wadsworth, OH/HS) finished first in the 1,500 meter run on the same track she won the GLIAC Championship a week prior. She finished with a time of 4:37.57.
Kaitlyn Barber (Fr., Toledo, OH/Whitmer) turned in a second place finish in the pole vault as she cleared 3.70 meters. She matched former Walsh athlete and two-time All-American Stephanie Foster who was competing unattached in the event.
Kendra Zbinovec (So., Lyndhurst, OH/NDCL) finished fifth in the shot put with a distance of 12.42 meters.
