Four Tickets Punched to NCAA Indoor Championships

NORTH CANTON, Ohio - The Walsh University women's track and field team will have four representatives in Pittsburg, Kansas next week when the NCAA Division II Indoor Track and Field Championships take place at the Robert W. Plaster Center.

G-MAC Female Track Athlete of the Meet Andra Lehotay, winner of two Great Midwest indoor championships last week, will compete for the national title in the mile. She will be making her third trip to indoor nationals for both the mile and the Distance Medley relay. 

Lehotay will join her teammates, Alexa Leppelmeier, Jetaiya Smith and Bre Bakan for the Distance Medley relay. Smith will be making her third appearance with Lehotay in the Distance Medley relay. Bakan and Leppelmeier will be traveling to Nationals for the first time in indoors. 

The mile prelims will be run on Friday (March 8) at 3:30 PM and the Distance Medley relay will be run at 6:40 PM on the same day.
