Volleyball Defeats Arrows in Four Sets

NORTH CANTON, Ohio - The Cavaliers played their second home match of the weekend on Saturday (Oct. 26) against the Arrows of Ursuline. 

Walsh improves to 13-6 overall and 6-0 in the conference with a 3-1 (25-19, 21-25, 25-17, 25-16) win over the Arrows. 

Ursuline was able to stay with the Cavaliers through most of the first set, and stole set two from the Cavs, but Walsh rolled past the Arrows in sets three and four. 

Alexis Gilland and Lauren Loucks guided the attack for Walsh with 17 and 16 kills, respectively. Olivia Kearns led in assists with 42 on the day. Sam Wentz led the back line with 16 digs, while Kearns had 15 digs. 

Walsh will next face hometown rival Malone on Tuesday (Oct. 29) at 7:00 PM.
