Rachael Bailes is in her third season with the Cavs, primarily working with passing and defense. She was a high school varsity coach for seven years with a career record of 82-37 with three conference runner-up finishes.
In college Bailes played for both Baldwin Wallace University and University of Charleston for one season each before pursuing her coaching career after an injury. She played at Valley Forge High School (‘05) where she set a number of school records, including career digs (1,112), digs match (41), career aces (76), and aces match (7). Bailes received both All-Conference and All-District Honorable Mentions, as well as Defensive MVP her junior and senior years.
Rachael has been coaching for over 15 years at the club level at various clubs in the Cleveland area. She is pursuing a degree in Sports Psychology.
