Men's Cross Country
The men's team, ranked #23rd in the nation and fourth in the Midwest will send 20 runners out of starting box four. Walsh finished second last year in the conference championships in Canton and were favored in the 2019 G-MAC Preseason Coaches Poll.
The men's squad has put together a solid season with two second place finishes, a fourth place and ninth overall through the first four meets. At the National Catholic Invitational and the All-Ohio Championships, Walsh was the top Division II team. Two-time G-MAC Runner of the Week Drew Roberts has opened his college career with three top-ten overall finishes and four, all within the top 20.
Women's Cross Country
On the women's side, Walsh enters the conference championship week as the 13th ranked team in Division II and fourth within the Midwest Region. As the defending champions from 2018, 19 runners will emerge from starting box 13 as the Cavs look to bring back another G-MAC title. After starting the season as the preseason favorite, Walsh has backed it up with finishes in the top four in all events this season. Walsh was the best D2 team at the National Catholic Invitational and the All-Ohio Championships.
