NASHVILLE, TN: The inaugural season for the Walsh University STUNT team finally got underway this past weekend at Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, Tennessee. In their first game in program history, they defeated Baldwin Wallace, 10-1, to secure the programs first ever win. Facing tough and experienced competition, the Cavs competed hard but fell to Trevecca Nazarene, Marcyhurst University and Malone. 

Walsh is excited to host their first ever home games this coming weekend. They will host Ashland and Muskingum on Friday at 6 and 7pm and then Hiram and Heidelberg, Sunday at 1 and 3pm. 

The STUNT games consist of four quarters that include different types of routines. The routines are partner stunts, pyramids & tosses, jumps & tumbling, and team routines.

• Many Cavs had strong performances in their first game of the year.
• Saige Veliz and Kayla Carter each had 10 points. 
• Mackenna Blackburn and Hanna Radel added nine! 

FOR THE CAVS VS MALONE

• Saige Veliz and Kayla Carter once again led the team with 8 points each. 
• Mackenna Blackburn, Hanna Radel, and Kaitlyn Long added 7 each.
