WESLEY CHAPEL, FL: The snow is finally melted and Cavalier Golf was back on the links last week during Spring Break! The programs traveled to Wesley Chapel, Florida and Saddlebrook Golf and Tennis Resort. After a few days of practice, the Maroon and Gold teed it up for the Saddlebrook Spring Kickoff, a 3 day, 54 hole event.
In tough, windy conditions, both teams finished in the middle of the pack with the Women finishing 4th out of 7 teams and the Men finishing 4th out of 6 teams.
Up next, the teams will compete on separate weekend's at Boone's Trace in Richmond, KY! The tournament will be hosted by the University of Findlay with the Women playing 3/17 and 3/18 and the Men 3/24 and 3/25.

- Junior, Sydney Hugo, led the Cavs with a 3rd place finish shooting rounds of 78, 78, 80
- Sophia Rosa finished in 16th with rounds of 90, 85, 86
