Brianna Coy graduated from Walsh University in 2018 where she earned her BA for Early Childhood Education, while also adding on a 4th and 5th Grade Endorsement. She ran all four years for Walsh University, earning many honors, including a G-MAC Champion title and being named an All-American for Cross Country, when she placed 13th in the nation in 2018. Coy now is into her fifth year at Minerva Elementary School, where she teaches third grade. Currently she is furthering her education by pursuing a MAED in TESOL. She was also the assistant coach for three years for the Minerva High School Cross Country and Track & Field Team. During her last year of coaching in 2021, the team won the Division II Ohio State Championship. Brianna continues to run road races and bake in her free time. She loves traveling the United States, and has already been to 14 countries in her lifetime. One of Coy's accomplishments after graduation was when she raised $4,700 for the Ulman Foundation as she ran across the country to raise awareness for adolescent cancer patients. Running is a true passion of Coy's, and she looks forward to helping train the Cavaliers who are ready for their best season yet!Â
