Walsh University Alum Lukas Keverkamp ('25) serves as a volunteer assistant coach for the Cavaliers' Cross Country and Track and Field programs. Lukas graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at Walsh, with an anticipated graduation in 2028.

As a student-athlete during his 5 years competing for Walsh, Lukas was part of four G-MAC cross country team titles and three appearances at the national meet. In 2024, Lukas was the G-MAC Conference Elite 26 Award recipient. In his time he set personal bests of 3:59 in the 1500m, 9:21 in the 3000m steeplechase, 14:52 in the 5000m, and 25:10 in the 8000m.

Lukas' academic work included an undergraduate honors thesis examining the physiological effects of sodium bicarbonate ingestion via Maurten Bicarb on endurance running performance, reflecting a combination of his education with his love for the sport.
