Walsh University

Donavon Martin Jr. has served as the Cavs Assistant Athletic Director for Operations since September of 2023. Before coming to Walsh, Martin Jr. was the Sports Information Director at Malone University, from 2020-2023. 

Martin Jr. received his Bachelors of Science in Sports Management from Ohio Valley University in 2015 while being apart of their baseball program for four years. While serving as Sports Information Director at Ohio Valley, he received his Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction in 2017. From 2018-2020, he worked at Millsaps College in Jackson, Mississippi as Director of Athletic Communications. 

Donavon resides in Uniontown, Ohio with his wife, Kelly and daughters, Peighton and Savannah.
