Walsh University

Doug Willmott has been in Walsh's Athletic Training room since 2001. Apart of Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital, he supervises every aspect of the Walsh Athletic Training program, and is in charge of preventative and rehab care for Walsh’s intercollegiate sports, specifically Women's Soccer, Cross Country, Tennis, and Golf.

A 1998 sports medicine graduate of the University of Akron, Willmott earned his master’s degree in exercise physiology from the University of Akron in 2000. He served as a graduate assistant athletic trainer at the University (1999-00) and was the coordinator of athletic training services for Optimal Rehab Services. Doug is the former Region lX representative to the NAIA, and is a member of the United States Olympic Committee Sports Medicine Society. A 1994 graduate of Northwest High School, Doug and his wife, Natashia, reside in Wadsworth, with their son, Mason.
