(CEDARVILLE, Ohio) - Nathaniel Milhoan (Sr., 5-11, Hartville, OH/Lake) scored a pair of goals in leading Walsh to a 3-0 victory over hosting Cedarville. The win is the Cavaliers' (8-1) seventh shutout of the season. The Yellow Jackets fall to 5-5 with the loss.
Milhoan opened up the scoring with his first goal of the season as Ben Truax (Sr., 6-1, Mansfield, OH/St. Peters) found him wide open12 yards in front of the net in the 11th minute. Milhoan added an insurance goal on an assists from Ben Latimer (Sr., 5-11, Sunbury, OH/Big Walnut) in the 65th minute. Less than two minutes later, Truax continued on his hot streak with his 10th goal of the season on an assist from Chad Dickerhoof (Jr., 6-0, Alliance, OH/Marlington). Mike Kelley (Jr., 6-0, Chagrin Falls, NDCL) recorded his sixth shutout of the year with five saves.
The Cavs' continue their five-game stretch of road games with the second of the five at Roberts Wesleyan College this Tuesday at 4 p.m.
