(COLUMBUS, Ohio) - Ohio Dominican University (9-5-3) scored three goals in nine minutes in the second half to rally past Walsh (14-4) 3-2. It was the third straight loss for the Cavs.
Jordan Semple's (Jr., 5-7, North Canton, OH/GlenOak) fifth goal of the season gave the Cavs a 1-0 lead at 43:49. Walsh scored just 2:18 into the second half to take a 2-0 lead on a header from Broc Sutek (Jr., 6-0, Minerva, OH/HS). Sutek's second goal of the season was assisted by Adam Greenwood (Jr., 5-11, Blackpool, England/Lytham St. Annes).
Walsh held the 2-0 lead until the clock hit the 70-minute mark. ODU's Tommy Glenn cut the lead in half at the 70:24 mark on an assist from Andrew Elder. Felix Darko then tied the game at 75:14. ODU snapped the tie when Glenn scored what proved to be the winning goal, on an assist from Colby Catlett at 79:43.
ODU out shot the Cavs 22-13 and dominated play in the second half, out shooting the Cavs 12-6.
