The win keeps the Cavs unbeaten and improves their record to 4-0 for the second consecutive season. Walsh returns to Milazzo Field on Sunday, as they host Ashland University at 4 p.m.
Cedarville's Deanna Bradshaw opened the scoring 1:29 into the contest to give the Yellow Jackets the early lead. Walsh knotted the game at the 29:30 mark of the first half as Molly Martin (5-7, Jr., Canfield, OH/HS) scored her first goal of the season on a high 25-foot shot that glanced off the Cedarville goalies hands. Lauren Jokovich (5-4, So., Canton, OH/Jackson) was credited with the assist.
Adams then scored the game-winner, her second goal of the season, grabbing a loose ball in the box and scoring one-on-one with the Cedarville keeper.
American Mideast Conference Defensive Player of the Week Jillian Zanney (Sr., Brunswick, OH/HS) recorded her fourth win of the season in goal stopping seven Jacket shots.
