Box Score (ASHLAND, Ohio) - Walsh lost its third staight game, falling 3-0 today to Ashland University (4-9, 3-5) in Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference action. The loss drops the Cavs to 2-4-2 in the GLIAC and to 5-4-2 overall. The Cavs are back in action next Thursday night, when they host Cedarville University in a non-conference game at 7 pm at Len Milazzo Field.
The Eagles scored four minutes into the contest when Kathleen Demarco scored from 16 yards out. Haley Frick gave the Eagles a 2-0 lead, when she scored at the 41:20 mark. The Eagles added an insurance goal when Allison Richards scored on a rebound with less then seven minutes to play.
The Eagles out shot the Cavs 18-6.
