(DETROIT, Mich.) - Third place Wayne State University (12-1, 12-1) handed the Cavs (9-4, 9-4) a 7-2 setback in a Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference match at the WSU Tennis Courts today. The home team captured all three doubles matches to set the tone for the match.
Daria Bondareva (Fr., Sankt-Petersburg, Russia/HS) and Alisha Angle (Jr., Lexington, OH/HS) posted wins at second and sixth singles respectively. Bondareva won 6-2, 6-2 and Angle won 4-6, 7-5, 11-9. For Angle it was her 10th straight win.
The Cavs are at the University of Findlay at 10 am tomorrow.
