(NORTH CANTON, Ohio) - Walsh (3-8, 0-4) remained winless in the GLIAC after being swept by No. 19 Grand Valley State University (10-2, 4-0) in three sets by the scores of 19-25, 11-25 and 7-25. The Cavs are back in action on Tuesday, when they meet rival Malone University in a GLIAC match at home at 7 pm.

Walsh led 16-14 in a tightly contested first set before the Lakers went on a 11-3 run to win 25-19. Grand Valley led 2-1 in the second set before running off nine straight points to take control of the set on their way to a 25-11 win and 2-0 match lead.

Paige Chandler (Sr., Cincinnati, OH/McNicholas), Kelly Miller (Fr., Old Fort, OH/HS) and Krissy Sokol (Sr., Akron, OH/Archbishop Hoban) combined for 15 kills, with MIller pacing the Cavs with six. Kaitlyn Bronikowski (Fr., Toledo, OH/Central Catholic led the Cavs with 12 digs.
