(North Canton, Ohio) - Walsh (0-2, 0-2) was bested 7-2 by Grand Valley State University (2-0, 2-0) in a Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference match played today at the Klekotka Tennis Complex. Walsh plays at home for the third straight day tomorrow morning, when they host Ferris State University at 10 am.

Despite losing all three doubles matches the Cavs played well, and had leads two of the three matches. 

Walsh's Sofya Logunova (Fr., Praha, Czech Republic) was superb at first singles, winning 6-4, 6-1. Daria Bondareva (Fr., Sankt-Petersburg, Russia) was dominate at second singles winning 6-1, 6-0.  Alisha Angle (Jr., Lexington, OH/HS) played well fifth singles before falling 4-6, 4-6.
