(ALLENDALE, Mich.) Grand Valley State (7-1, 7-1) defeated Walsh (5-5, 5-5) 6-3 in a Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference match at the GVSU Tennis Courts today.  The Cavs return to action next Thursday at Ohio Dominican University at 3 pm., and then host Ashland University on Friday at 2pm.

The Cavs trailed 2-1 after doubles play, with Sofya Logunova and Alona Skobkina winning 8-3 at first doubles.

Logunova would also post a 6-2, 6-1 at first singles. Daria Bondareva would win 6-3, 6-1 at second singles.
