After dropping the three doubles matches by the scores of 8-3, 8-1 and 8-4, Walsh rallied to win four of six singles matches before falling short.

Sofya Logunova won 6-3, 6-2 at first singles. Alona Skobkina then captured a 6-4, 7-6 decision at third singles. Asia Harris won at fifth singles (6-3, 6-7, 6-3) and Alisha Angle won at number six singles (1-6, 6-1, 7-6).
