(NORTH CANTON, Ohio) Tiffin (4-3, 3-3) halted Walsh's three match win streak, downing the Cavs 6-3 in a hard fought Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference contest. The loss drops Walsh to 4-2 overall, and in the GLIAC. The Cavs hit the road for the next five conference matches, and play at Northwood University next Friday (1 p.m) and at Saginaw Valley State next Saturday (12 a.m.).
The Dragons started off by taking two of three doubles matches. Sofya Logunova and Alona Skobkina posted the Cavs only win, 7-5, at first doubles.
Asia Harris and Alisha Angle notched wins at fifth and sixth singles respectively. Harris won 3-6, 6-2, 1-0 (6-1) and Angle remained unbeaten in singles action (6-0), winning 7-6 (7-5), 7-6 (7-4).
