(CANTON, Ohio) – The Walsh women's tennis team faced some tough competition today as it fell to undefeated Grand Valley State 7-2 in GLIAC action. The Cavaliers drop to 3-6 on the year both overall and in the conference. The Lakers stand at 10-0 overall and 9-0 in the conference.

Sofya Logunova was a part of both points as she scored wins at No. 1 singles and doubles. In doubles action, she paired with Daria Bondareva for an 8-4 win over Aimee Moccia and Rachel Sumner. In singles play, She won 6-1, 6-2 over Abby Perkins.

Walsh will play its final home contest of the calendar year against Ferris State tomorrow at 10 a.m.
