(NORTH CANTON, Ohio) - Offensive opportunities were limited for Walsh as it fell 1-0 to Ohio Dominican in GLIAC action on a chilly Sunday afternoon at Milazzo Field. The Cavaliers fall to 5-6-3 overall and 3-5-1 in the conference. The Panthers improved their playoff positioning and are now 8-6 overall and 7-2 in the GLIAC.

The lone goal of the contest came in the closing seconds of the first half when Summer Bourcier scored just in front of the goal. The assist came from Meghan Martella as she headed a pass from Bourcier back to her in the 42nd minute.

The Cavs had trouble getting momentum on the offensive end as they were outshot 15-6 and had only one shot in the second half. Corner kicks were heavy for both teams as ODU tallied nine to Walsh's five.

The scheduled doesn't get any easier as Walsh hosts No. 4 Grand Valley State this Friday. The game is now scheduled to start at 4 p.m.
