(MIDLAND, Mich.) – Walsh couldn't overcome a strong start by Ferris State after doubles play and fell 5-1 on the second day of the GLIAC Tournament on Saturday. The Bulldogs (9-4) took all three doubles matches en route to the win.
The Cavaliers' only point came at No. 1 singles as Sofya Logunova continued her strong season with a 6-4, 6-2 victory against Shawnee-Ann Breslford.
Walsh is now set to play Hillsdale in the seventh-place game at 8:30 a.m. on Sunday.
