Box Score (NORTH CANTON, Ohio) – Walsh fell in its final regular season home game to Lake Erie by a score of 6-0 at Milazzo Field on a sunny Sunday afternoon. The Cavaliers (3-13, 1-12) had trouble getting the offenses going as it was out-shot 29-8 by the Storm (7-7-1, 7-5-1).
Anthony Novak brought the Storm to life with a hat trick. His first score came in the 19th minute and followed up with a second in the 35th. The score remained 2-0 through halftime. Novak's third goal was scored off his own rebound from a penalty kick in the 64th minute.
The Cavaliers will close the season against their rival Malone in a men's and women's doubleheader. The men are scheduled to start at 3 p.m.
