(PAINESVILLE, Ohio) – Olivia Peters' sixth goal of the season gave Walsh a 1-0 win over hosting Lake Erie in non-conference action. The Cavaliers are now 4-1-1 overall on the year while the Storm suffered its first loss and are now 4-1.

The goal came in the 65th minute as Tarah McCausland assisted on the play, her second assist on the season.

The Cavaliers' offense dominated the game and held a 16-5 advantage on shots taken with nine on target. Only two of the Storms' were on goal, but Dani Shambaugh saved both after she came in for the second half and picked up her first win of the year.

Walsh will continue its six-game road slate with a trip to Tiffin this Friday. Kickoff is slated for 12 p.m.
