(ELKINS, W.Va.) – Host Davis & Elkins was too much for Walsh as the Cavaliers fell by a score of 4-0 in G-MAC action Wednesday evening. The Cavs (2-2-1, 1-1) held the Senators (2-1-1, 1-0-1) to one goal in the first half, but D&E's offense took control in the second half.

The game was scoreless until the 31st minute when Tim Staerz scored on an assist from Abel Ameyaw. Davis & Elkins. The Senators added another goal in the opening minute of the second half.

Walsh equaled Davis & Elkins on shots in the first half 11-11, but the Cavalier offense was limited to just four shots in the second. Of the 15 shots, five were on goal.

The Cavaliers will return to the Mountain State this Saturday when they take on Alderson Broaddus in G-MAC action. Kickoff with the Battlers is slated for 7:30 p.m.
