Walsh women's tennis team lost home opener 8-1 to former conference foe, Tiffin. Walsh falls to 0-2 overall while Tiffin stays perfect at 3-0.

The Cavaliers fell behind early as they lost all three of their doubles matches by scores of 8-5,8-3, and 8-2. Katarina Raszum was the only Cavalier to tally a point on the day in her singles match (2-6,6-2,1-0). Maria Kacalova came close to scoring a point for the Cavs as she lost both matches by identical 7-6 scores.

The Cavs will be back in action this weekend at the ITA Regional Tournament in Midand, Mich. hosted by Northwood University.
