Box Score

(PHILIPPI, W.Va.) – Walsh continued its best start to a season since joining the NCAA with a three-set win over Alderson Broaddus at Rex Pyles Arena on Saturday afternoon. The Cavaliers (12-2, 6-0) won by scores of 25-17, 25-18, and 25-18 against the Battlers (5-10, 0-4) in G-MAC action.

The Cavaliers were never really threatened except in the first set when the game was tied 14-14, but Walsh responded with 11 of the next 14 points to go one-up on AB.

Lauren Loucks led the attack with 13 kills. Paola Ferrario joiner her in double-figures with 10. Olivia Zanolli added 38 assists to set the offense.

Four Cavs recorded 10 or more digs with Ferrario pacing the team with 14. Hallie Schroeder added 13. Erica Schiets tallied 12, and Amanda Adoranti made 11.

Walsh will return home riding a six-match win streak, all of which took place on the road. The Cavs will look to keep that going as they host Lake Erie and Ursuline next week.
