The Walsh volleyball team traveled to Alderson Broaddus earlier this evening where they swept the Battlers 3-0. Alderson Broaddus (7-17, 2-12) hung with the Cavaliers (14-10, 10-3) throughout the first two sets (29-27, 28-26). But the Cavaliers ultimately secured the win in the third set (25-16). 

Lauren Loucks led the explosive Walsh offense with 17 kills. Hallie Schroeder also had a solid offensive performance with 15 kills for the Cavaliers. Olivia Zanolli provided the assists with 43 on the night. 

On the defensive end, Amanda Adoranti led with 13 digs. Paola Ferrario and Erica Schiets had 8 and 7 digs, respectively. 

The Cavaliers have a quick turnaround as they face off with Davis & Ekins at 2 p.m. tomorrow.
