Box Score (HILLSDALE, Michigan) - The Cavaliers bounced back from a loss two days ago at Findlay to deafeat Hillsdale on the road 63-59. Tonight's win puts the Maroon and Gold at 7-4 overall, and 3-1 in G-MAC play.
The guard/forward duo of Darryl Straughter and JT Shumate led the Cavaliers, as Straughter poured in 19 points, and Shumate followed close behind with 18 points and 7 boards on the night.
Sterling Christy was a force in the paint, as he corralled 14 rebounds and contributed two blocks. Reece Bogan and Conner Wess contributed 9 and 8 points, respectively.
Connor Hill came off the bench to lead the Chargers' offense with 14 points.
The Cavs head south next week to battle G-MAC foes Kentucky Wesleyan and Trevecca Nazarene.
