(NORTH CANTON, Ohio) - The Walsh Women's tennis team dominated Ashland in its first home event of the season. With a 6-1 victory over the Eagles, Walsh had an impressive day at Klekotka Tennis Complex. 

The Cavs powered through Ashland with wins in all three doubles matches. Doubles partners Maria Kacalova and Katarin Razum had a complete shutout over Ashlands Nikhol Pluta and Huntyr Lake.  Walsh also went 5-1 in the singles competition with another huge shutout by Clara Drasch.

With an impressive day on the courts the Cavs look to take this momentum into the weekend at the ITA Midwest Tournament hosted by Grand Valley State.
