CANTON, Ohio - The Walsh University women's soccer team traveled down the road to Malone to take on the Pioneers in G-MAC action earlier today (September 21). The game remained scoreless through 90 minutes and was forced into overtime play. 

In the 96th minute, Olivia Peters scored the lone goal of the game off of an assist from Kayla Rance. Walsh pushed the pace throughout the contest with 20 shots, while Malone took 14 shots. The Cavaliers also had 11 shots on goal, compared to Malone's four. 

Mickey McClanahan earned another win for Walsh in goal with four saves on the day. Haleigh Seman recorded ten saves in goal for the Pioneers. 

The Cavs will travel to Alderson Broaddus on Thursday (September 26) for a 5:00 PM start time.
