NORTH CANTON, Ohio - The #11 Walsh Cavaliers women's basketball team took care of business on Saturday (Feb. 15) afternoon at home against the Ursuline College Arrows at Alumni Arena for Senior Day. 

Walsh improved to 22-2 overall and 15-0 in the G-MAC with an 83-65 win, the 17th straight victory. 

The Cavaliers closed the first quarter on an 11-2 run as they led 28-17 after one quarter. The lead remained with Walsh for much of the contest with Ursuline pulling within five in the second quarter. With a nine point after three quarters, the Cavaliers ended the game with an 18-6 fourth quarter. Walsh closed out the game with an 83-62 victory. 

Quionche Carter flirted with a triple-double with 23 points, 12 rebounds, six assists and three steals. She made ten-of-19 shots with one three pointer and two free throws while tying career-highs in rebounds and assists. Mayci Sales finished with her tenth double-double of the season, scoring 16 points and grabbing 11 rebounds. Lexie Scarton was perfect from the floor, converting five field goals and one three pointer in an 11 point effort. Tyler Newkirk was the fourth player in double-figures with ten points. 

The Cavaliers will head to Malone on Monday (Feb. 17) for a rivalry matchup at 6:00 PM.
