NORTH CANTON, Ohio - The #22 ranked Walsh Cavaliers men's soccer team bounced back from Thursday's setback to Ohio Dominican with a 2-1 win on the road at Findlay on Saturday (Oct. 9) afternoon. With the 2-1 win, Walsh now sits in second place with a 5-2-1 conference record and 16 points. 

• Score: Walsh 2, Findlay 1
• Records: Walsh 8-2-2 (5-2-1), Findlay 4-6-1 (3-4-1)
• Location: DeHaven Field (Findlay, Ohio)

HOW IT HAPPENED: 

• Dominic O'Connor kicked off the scoring in the 17th minute on an assist from Nathan Kolke as Walsh led 1-0 throughout the rest of the first half. 
• Walsh and Findlay were tied with six shots each in the first half, with each team having three shots on goal. 
• Patrick O'Halloran found Jac Humphreys for a 2-0 lead in the 66th minute. 
• Five minutes later, Findlay cut the lead in half with a goal by Nick McCracken. 

FOR THE CAVALIERS:

• Walsh finished with 12 shots with eight on goal in the contest.
• Ten different players took shots with O'Halloran and Austin Stassinis each taking two shots.
• O'Connor and Humphreys tallied goals and Kolke and O'Halloran added assists. 
• Ethan Burawa faced 14 shots with nine shots on target and eight saves. 

FOR THE OILERS:

• Findlay totaled 14 shots overall and had nine on goal throughout the afternoon.
• Ben Bolinger led Findlay with four shots (two on goal). 
• McCracken scored the goal with an assist from Patryk Kibler.

UP NEXT:

• The Cavs will head to Columbus on Thursday (Oct. 14) for a rematch with Ohio Dominican, beginning at 5:00 PM.
