CANTON, Ohio - The Walsh Cavaliers women's soccer team earned another trip to the Great Midwest Women's Soccer Championship Tournament with a regular season finale win over the Malone Pioneers on Tuesday (Nov. 2) night. 

• Score: Walsh 3, Malone 1
• Records: Walsh 5-9-3 (5-6-2), Malone 2-10-4 (2-8-3)
• Location: Pioneer Park (Canton, Ohio)

HOW IT HAPPENED: 

• Hannah Stein opened the scoring with a goal in the 9th minute off the foot of Sabrina Ortenzi. 
• Ally Stein followed it up in the 25th minute with a goal of her own in the 25th minute. Faith Estes assisted on the goal as Walsh led 2-0.
• Kiara McMillian gave the Cavaliers a 3-0 lead with 14 minutes left, assisted by Miriam Szijarto. 
• Bridget Harris closed the scoring on Malone's side in the 84th minute. 

FOR THE CAVALIERS:

• Walsh had 17 shots with ten on goal in the contest.
• H. Stein led with five shots while Madalyn Canter had three shots. 
• The Stein sisters along with McMillian tallied goals for the Cavaliers while Ortenzi, Estes and Szijarto added assists. 
• Romina Parraguez faced eight shots with six shots on target and five saves. 

FOR THE PIONEERS:

• Malone totaled eight shots overall and had six on goal throughout the evening.
• Madeleine Ault had three shots with Cayde Koballa and Natalie Martorana both having a pair of shots. 
• Harris had the only goal for Malone.
• Jessica Morgan had seven saves on ten shots on goal (17 total shots).
