SOUTH EUCLID, OH- The Walsh University Cavaliers improved to 8-2 on the year as they beat the Notre Dame College Falcons by a score of 73-59. Six different Cavsaliers,including all five starters, contributed double-digit figures on the day.

Records: Walsh 8-2 (3-1), Notre Dame (6-5, 5-1)

FOR WALSH:

• Senior Sha Carter recorded her second straight double-double as she poured in 15 points and grabed 11 rebounds.
• Megan Ball was 6-9 from the field for 12 total points
• #22 Mayci Sales chipped in 11 points while also grabbing six boards
• Lexie Scarton, Morgan McMillen, and Abby Hickey rounded out the Walsh offense with 10 points a piece
• Scarton dished out a game-high six assists and shot 50% from the field
• McMillen and Hickey connected on two threes each
• The Cavalier defense forced the Falcons to 18 turnovers as Morgan McMillen, Lexie Scarton, and Sha Carter each had three steals
• Walsh won the rebounding war 37-35, including 26 defensive boards

FOR NOTRE DAME COLLEGE:

• Tamia Ridley recorded a double-double as she scored 15 points and grabbed game-high 16 rebounds
• Alana Ellis contributed 11 points as she shot 40% from the field
• Marina Adachi led the Falcons in scoring with 16 on the day
