Box Score NORTH CANTON, Ohio- The Walsh Cavaliers men's basketball team fell to Hillsdale College Saturday afternoon (Feb. 13th) at Alumni Arena. The #11 Hillsdale Charges defeated the Cavs 89-68.

The Short Story: #11 Hillsdale maintained their lead throughout the entire match-up as they defeated the Cavaliers by twenty-one points. A three-pointer by Darryl Straughter tied up the game with 7:56 remaining in the first half. The Charger's offense remained unstoppable as they went into the second-half with an eight point lead
Senior Darryl Straughter led the Cavaliers with 15 points and four rebounds. Luke Howes and Christian Montague also contributed to the Cavalier's score. Howes tabbed 14 points, shooting six of 10 from the field. Montague totaled 14 points and four assists. Caleb Canter led the team in rebounding at five as the Cavs grabbed 25 total boards.
Hillsdale's Connor Hill led all scores at 23, shooting three of four from three-point range. Forward Patrick Cartier also contributed 22 points.
The Cavaliers shot 48.1 percent (25-52) from the field and 42.1 percent (8-19) from behind the arc.
Walsh will host Cedarville University Tuesday night at 5:00 P.M. ET.
