Box Score CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Facing the Cedarville Yellow Jackets for the second time in nearly 27 hours, the Walsh Cavaliers men's basketball team could not capitalize from a fast start as Walsh fell 74-54 on Thursday (Feb. 18) night at Cedarville. Walsh is now 7-7 after the fifth straight defeat.

The Short Story: Walsh was six-of-eight shooting in the first four and a half minutes as they jumped out to a 16-2 lead. The Cavaliers used four threes, including three on an 11-0 run as Walsh pushed the lead to 14, the largest of the night. Over the next eight minutes, Cedarville answered with a 28-4 run (14-0 at one point) to take a 30-20 lead in the half. After trailing by seven at halftime, Walsh cut the Cedarville lead to four two times in the final eight minutes. Christian Simmons made it 53-49 with 6:29 left after a putback. Cedarville ended the game with another run of 21-5 as they took the rematch 74-54.
