Box Score NORTH CANTON, Ohio - The tenth-ranked Walsh Cavaliers volleyball team dispatched the Kentucky Wesleyan Panthers in a three set sweep at the Cecchini Center on Saturday (Feb. 20) afternoon. With the sweep, the Cavaliers are 6-1 overall for the season and have clinched a spot in the 2021 Great Midwest Volleyball Tournament. The match featured three lead changes (two in the third set) and five tie scores (four in the final set). Walsh only trailed for two points in the entire match.

FOR THE CAVALIERS
- Sydney Dixon had her fourth double-double of the season with a team-high 11 kills and 12 digs along with a .333 hitting percentage.
- Hallie Schroeder added ten kills and a .280 hitting percentage on offense.
- Julie Kruse tied a career-high with 30 assists as the setter and served up a pair of aces.
- Natalie Brutscher led the team with 14 digs.
FOR THE PANTHERS
- Harrah Cron had a team-high 11 kills and 11 digs for Kentucky Wesleyan. Cron also was tied for the team lead with her teammate Carlee Widmer with 12 assists.
BEHIND THE NUMBERS
- Walsh outhit Ohio Dominican .222 to .111 for the match. The Cavaliers hit .300 in the opening set, the best set of the day.
- The Cavaliers lead the Panthers in all categories as they totaled 38 kills, 37 assists, four aces, 50 digs and five total blocks.
