North Canton, OH- The Walsh Cavaliers outscored the Lake Erie Storm by 50 points Saturday (Feb. 27th) afternoon.  The Cavaliers recorded their 16th win of the season.

The reigning G-MAC champs outscored Lake Erie in all four quarters.  Walsh was led by senior Mayci Sales, who tied her career-high 32 points.  Sales also recorded eight rebounds, four assists, and three steals.  Junior guard Sha Carter tabbed 14 points and led all-rebounds at nine on the day.  Abby Hickey contributed valuable minutes off the bench as she connected for three treys totaling nine of her 11 points.  

Walsh was 57.1 percent from behind the arc shooting 8-14.  The Cavaliers forced the Storm to 18 turnovers on the day, which resulted in 29 points for the maroon and gold.

Leading the Storm was Sydney Wyndgarden with 16 points and seven rebounds. 

The Cavaliers will host the quarter-final round of the Great Midwest Conference Championship Tuesday, March 2nd.  The opponent is yet to be determined.
