PAINESVILLE, Ohio- The #7 ranked Cavaliers Volleyball team added another check to their win column by defeating the Storm from Lake Erie in a sweep of 3-0. The Tuesday(March 2) night game was held in Painesville in the Osborne Center. This will mark the sixth win in a row for the Cavaliers and would help them improve to an overall record of 9-1.

FOR THE CAVALIERS:

• Olivia Maczuzak led the Cavaliers will 11 total kills
• Maczuzak also racked up 4 points for the Cavaliers in serving aces
• Hallie Schroeder and Sam Wentz each contributed 10 digs
• Schroeder also tallied 4 kills and 1 ace.
• Grace Lindquist and Alexis Gilland each added 9 kills for the Cavs

FOR THE STORM:

• Kaylee Hiser led the Storm with 10 total digs
• Kariema Rodriquez added 7 kills and 9 digs

BEHIND THE NUMBERS:

• Walsh outhit Lake Erie .368 to .038 percent on the day
• The Cavaliers posted 42 kills to the Storms 25
• The Maroon and Gold tallied 6 points from serving aces in the match, while the Storm only added 1 point
