Despite a strong defensive effort, the Walsh Cavalilers were unable to capitalize on the offensive end of the field as they fell 17-0 Saturday (March 20th) afternoon to the undefeated Ohio Dominican University Panthers.

The Panthers came out strong as they scored in the opening drive of the game.  An 18-yard pass from Evan Ernst to David Turner allowed the Panthers to take the lead at 6-0.  A good PAT by kicker Jed Quackenbush put the Panthers up 7-0 with 7:21 remaining in the first quarter.

A strong defensive effort was put-forth by both teams as neither team would find the endzone for the remainder of the first half.

Jed Quackenbush helped the Panthers extend their lead 10-0 with a late second quarter field goal.

The Cavalier's continued to struggle offensively as a Jeremy Hodge threw an interception in the opening drive of the second half.

A dominant defensive effort led by a Sal Sidebotham interception prevented the Panthers from scoring until late in the fourth quarter.

The Panther's offense proved too much for the Cavaliers to handle as they would score again on a two-yard rush by Frederick Pitts V with 1:02 remaining in the game.
