TIFFIN, Ohio - The Walsh Cavaliers women's soccer went on the road for a Great Midwest matchup with the Tiffin Dragons on Thursday (April 1) afternoon at Paradiso Field. Tiffin defeated the Cavaliers 2-1 as Walsh dropped to 4-1 on the season. 

Tiffin scored the first goal of the game in the 7th minute before Walsh tallied an equalizer in the 23rd minute. Haley Dancer evened the score at one with a goal, assisted by Faith Estes as the game was tied 1-1 at halftime. The Dragons took the 2-1 lead in the 67th minute and was able to down the Cavaliers for the first loss of the season.

Walsh led the shot battle 16-14 and with shots on goal 9-6.

The Cavaliers will travel to Findlay on Saturday (April 3) at 3:00 PM.
