COLUMBUS, Ohio - The 2021 Great Midwest Women's Soccer Tournament Semifinals were shifted a day back due to weather, causing the quest for the Cavaliers' repeat to be moved to Friday (April 30). The fifth seed Walsh Cavaliers women's soccer team battled the number one seed Findlay Oilers at Panther Stadium in the Semifinal. 

Walsh struck first but the Oilers tallied a second half goal for a close 2-1 contest win. 

Hannah Bowman scored for the Cavaliers in the 31st minute for a 1-0 lead. Findlay tied the game in the 42nd minute as the game was tied 1-1 at halftime. The Oilers took the lead 2-1 in the 74th minute as that was the final score. 

Walsh outshot Findlay 9-7, with six shots in the second half. 

The Cavaliers finished the 2021 spring season with a 6-6 overall record.
