North Canton, OH- The Walsh Cavaliers were defeated by the Ashland Eagles Thursday, September 30th by a score of 4-1. Sabrina Ortenzi went on to score the only Cavalier goal in their fifth loss of the season.

FOR WALSH:

• Senior Sabrina Ortenzi put the Cavs within one at the beginning of the second half as she scored her second goal of the season
• Goalie Romina Parraguez tabbed four saves on the day, totaling 45 on the year 
• The Cavaliers recorded four shots on goal and seven shots total

FOR ASHLAND:

• Tori Baker, McKinley Mendenhall, Julianna Williams, and Macayla Harris all scored for the Eagles
• Rylie Howman and Sydney McMillan each had one assist on the day
• Brianna Rogers recorded three saves
