NORTH CANTON, OH- The Walsh Cavaliers tabbed their sixth straight win Saturday (January 22) afternoon as they defeated the Lake Erie Storm. Four of five starters scored in double-digit figures as the Cavaliers won by a score of 88-58.

Records: Walsh 14-3 (9-2), Lake Erie 1-18 (0-13)

FOR WALSH:

• G-MAC Player of the Week Morgan McMillen led the Cavalier offense as she poured in 23 points, shooting ten-of-sixteen from the floor, including three treys.
• Sha Carter shot 50% from the field for a total of 19 points. Carter also recorded four steals on the day
• Graduate Forward Mayci Sales followed with 17 points as she was seven-of-eleven from the floor and grabbed game-high seven rebounds
• Lexie Scarton rounded out the Cavalier scoring with 11 points. Scarton dished out game-high six assists and added four steals 
• The Cavalier Defense proved dominant once again as they forced Lake Erie to 26 turnovers
• Walsh outrebounded the Storm 33-25

FOR LAKE ERIE:

• The Storm was led by forward Breanna Bauer with 12 points, shooting a perfect six-of-six from the field
• #15 Taylor Thomas was three-of-five from behind the arc, for a total of nine points
