Box Score NORTH CANTON, Ohio - The Walsh University men's basketball team completed a 2-0 week at Alumni Arena with a 72-60 win over the Lake Erie Storm on Saturday (Jan. 22) afternoon. Walsh erased an early lead and controlled the pace of the game for most of the contest, leading by as many as 17 in the second half. The Cavaliers moved into a first place tie with Malone with the win on Saturday, their third straight win.

FOR THE CAVALIERS
- Garrison Keeslar led all scorers with 24 points along with six rebounds, four assists and two steals. He shot seven-of-nine from the floor and nine-of-14 from the free throw line.
- Darryl Straughter scored 14 points, hitting four three pointers with three dimes.
- Caleb Canter made six field goals for 12 points along with five rebounds.
- Tim Smith Jr. reached a double-double with ten points and ten rebounds.
- Walsh shot 52.9% (27-51) for the game, including 69.6% (16-23) from the floor in the second half.
- Four different players had a block, including Keeslar, Canter, Smith Jr. and Owen Hazelbaker.
FOR THE STORM
- Jonny Manning had 17 points and ten rebounds for a double-double of his own. He was eight-of-13 overall and picked up seven offensive rebounds.
- Jordan Burton was tied for the team lead with 17 points and three assists.
- Lake Erie tallied a 41.1% (23-56) shooting percentage and was 28% (7-25) from three.
Walsh will head South to Nashville for a Great Midwest matchup with Trevecca Nazarene on Thursday (Jan. 27) at 8:30 PM Eastern.
